Shred - Wax

Shredded Wax is the softest of all shreds.  It is so soft it won't mark a nectarines skin. Wax shred is the prefferd shred for packing fruit and cheese. Many times fruit and cheese baskets are refrigerated to maintain the freshness of the product.  If condensation builds up in the basket the shred will maintain its original appearance. The wax shred also serves as a barrier of protection and holds the product in place.

We stock 10 Lb Ctns, 25 Lb Ctns and 100 Lb bales of Wax shredded in three colors: White, Red and Green.  Other colors are availabe upon request.
